Mock Spock

Wyatt's hand-me-down pile is starting to look more like a trash bag full of garage sale rejects. My poor, little second-born child.

You guys are crazy, this is *not* a cute picture of my kid. He's actually spitting at the camera.

Spock he is, cute he is not.
(At least in this picture).

The second spock is by far better looking!
Hand me downs are great! But they do look a little ragged by the 2nd child. Wait til the third, you'll be shocked at what you'll let your child out of the house in just so you don't have to buy something that won't be used again!

And spitting is ok for boys, I see them do it all the time!

Oh yeh we went through that spitting phase! Now we've moved on to, "Smell my butt!" Great!

Don't sweat it - at least not until he's old enough to tell you he doesn't want to wear hand-me-downs anymore. But honestly, it's a waste of money to buy all new stuff for kids - they outgrow most of it so quickly - and you can get great stuff at consignment sales that's sometimes still sporting original tags. And once they're big enough to wear their clothes out before they outgrow them, there's DEFINITELY no reason to spend lots of money on new stuff. Bet the little darlin' won't give two figs about whether he's wearin' hand-me-downs or not.

With that face, who's looking at the clothes?

Yeah, right. What a cutie! (even if he is spitting at the camera) Can I say that the random squealing/screaming small fry is engaging in right now is worse?

I'm sure having to wear hand-me-downs will put him in therapy for a good portion of his adult life. ;) As if! Your little Wu already has a fabulous 'tude which I'm sure will insulate him from anything life throws at him.

Actually, I have a lot of clothes older than my child, but after a babyhood of spitting up copiously and constantly, I'm over the whole 'new clothes appearance' thing and am content with dry and relatively unstained.

They're boys, after all, with better things to do than worry about wearing *anything*!

ya know as the 1st child I was actually annoyed to see that my lil sister got all my hand me downs, even when they didn't fit me anymore.
the most annoying was that she wore my 1st Holy Communion dress to her Communion. I felt so un-unique at that point.

your boy looks cute regardless though!
