You would think that I would have known this, I've been behind the wheel for more than 20 years, my father's a mechanic...
See that gasoline tank? Did you notice that little triangle? That triangle points to what side your gas tank is on, just in case you are like me and forget that stuff (like all the time). Mine is on the left, the driver's side.
WTF?
Go check your car, you've got one too.
You can thank me... share it with all your friends... impress your husband
or every time you get behind the wheel, you can think about what an idiot Anti-Supermom is not knowing it.
Promise you, I already feel like an idiot.

Dad never taught you that? I DID impress Benji with this little gem when we first got together. He had no idea. It's so lovely and simple, right? Pure Genius. (You sure Wyatt didn't think it up?)
I only discovered the gas tank symbol about six months ago. Who knew?
Great post!
I am so totally checking that out when I leave work today! I drive an old Jeep that you actually pull down the license plate to get to the gas cap and the Jeep is so small it doesn't matter if you're on the wrong side. BUT since the Jeep doesn't have air conditioning, I end up driving my hubby's Suburban most of the time. I avoid being the person to gas it up since it takes a small fortune. (It has a 40 gallon tank!) However, I need to fill it up today, so I will be looking!
Obivously, you aren't the only one in the dark... we can be idiots together.
LOL!! I have a post on this in draft!!! I'll hold off on mine for a while now. :) But that knowledge has helped me so much through the years!
It happens to everyone once in a while...I had a bad bout of mommy brain and a gas tank...the post is in drafts because I'm really not brave enough to publish that one quite yet!
WM
Wow, I had NO clue!
WTF! How did I not know this!?? What a nice tid bit!
Beth! You are a genius! This is going to win me a spot on someone's Trivial Pursuit team for sure! We're in Decorah this weekend, BTW? Are you going to the Minnesota Bloggers Conference in on Sept 10?
WTF? is right! I did NOT know this either. That's almost downright exciting.
I will never have to guess or try to remember again when driving a vehicle other than my own!
Who'd a thunk it?
What the hey?!? I'd run out to my car right now, but I'm supposed to be folding laundry and pulling out the next size for Fynn... I don't want to draw attention to myself!
you make me smile :)
here's to this friday...
I was also told, that if there isn't an arrow, then it's on the same side of the car as the gauge...does that make sense?
Both my husband and I discovered this in the past year. Then I found out that my father--a former mechanic--DID NOT KNOW ABOUT IT!
I don't feel so stupid now!
Man...I wish I would have taught you this a long time ago...I would have looked like a hero! :)
My car is for dummies - it says the words and has the picture! ;)
