Our grass is pretty swampy, but patches are growing in the back yard. My husband mowed for the first time this year last weekend. It needs some TLC though. We are putting up a costco sized playset this weekend which is going to wipe out about 30% of our yard. But it's the swampy muddy end so I'm okay with it - plus the kids are going to have more fun!
Just starting to see the grass around our yard... the snow just won't melt. But we're having a few rainy days, so the end is near. Spring officially starts 03/20... even though it won't be warm here, I can pretend.

The only problem is that growing grass means you gotta cut it. I don't like that part!
the sun is out here friend. pretty sure there is a whole lot of green underneath all that snow!
riiiiiggghhhtt (on the last part ;-) aren't you the mom with the skull and crossbones? :D
ooh, great shot...green grass always cheers me up! (and I mean the lawn kind too, not the special kind;)
Lol! Good thing you clarified :)
Well, I do like your attitude about winter.. from a Michigander..

Great picture. Inspires me to take a few.
You know, I wouldn't even mind cutting it, I'd just love for the snow to melt so I can finally SEE some!! Sigh!
I just miss our green grass, a LOT! So does the dog, I think the dry stuff is scraping her little bottom when she goes.
Watching grass grow IS fun! Whee!
Grass is beautiful. (green grass, I mean). Thanks for the reminder that spring is almost here...almost...
Our grass is still brown outside.
Ours is in freak out mode. Two doses of snow this year and a freeze. I wonder what is going to pop up?
mmmm.... spring
Ha! That seems like fun...sounds like a good project to me. Just have to keep the cat away from it... :)
