Dear God,
I know that I just wrote you and all, and that you are super busy, but I just had to check in.
You know how I was running on the treadmill at the gym and was watching CNN (OK, obviously we both know that's not completely the truth, I was watching Ellen and it was on a commercial break and I was limited to watch what was in my line of vision of being on a treadmill without falling off and twisting an ankle or getting my shoelaces stuck in the belt and landing smack down on my face... any who...CNN), remember how I learned about this brewery turning rainwater into beer? How I was thinking, 'Now God - that's getting pretty close to your 'turning water into wine' thing. Pretty cool stuff'. Remember how I was laughing to myself (and with you, I suppose) about how making 'snow into beer' would be more Minnesota style? Funny stuff, remember?
So, am I suppose to take this as a hint?
Seriously, it's not even mid-October. I didn't think Minnesota needs 8 months of snow and we both know, I'm not really going to start my own 'snow into beer' making business in the basement of our house alongside the kiddos' exersaucer and the crayon buckets.
Sorry God, but this time I'm not laughing.
Sincerely,
Anti-Supermom

I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reminding why I moved to Florida - bless you my child.
and I thought today's high temp of 61 was brrr cold!
We have rain and humidity. For the past week.
Brrrrr!! Yes, October is too soon for snow. I grew up in Illinois and I remember some Halloweens where it would be snowing.
Yeah, I like southern California ;)
I just spent the last two full days switching all of my kids clothes to autumn and winter- And I am in Texas. Maybe I could join you for a brew after all the hard work I put in?
You're right Oct is not the time for snow. I much prefer 2 days worth in Jan/Feb and then that's enough.
I'm with you!
I'm in Wyoming and we got hit with nearly a foot of snow. In October! Grr.
I was totally rolling laughing on this one.
New England was 32 this am, as I froze my butt off at the garage at 7am getting the car "winterized" and oil changed. UGH!
But at least we didn't get SNOW.
I tweeted you... the bananas came out disgustingly mooshy when they thawed... do you thaw them? Yeesh! I chucked them out!
I am NOT looking forward to the white crap! But now I can think of this and not feel so cold at soccer practice.
It's just too soon for the likes of that!
NOT SNOW!!!
Brrrr! I do NOT miss that snow here in Texas! It snowed a week ago in Utah where we moved from and I'm sooo not jealous!
But think of all the hot cocoa you get to enjoy now!
Please, PLEASE turn this snow into beer.
You need to move to Texas ;)
Snow into beer...I think you have something there!
I can't believe you have snow already though!!!!!!!
Hopefully it will all melt soon...but then how will you make beer? :)
Ah another reason why I am glad I live in Australia where it rarely snows - in my home state anyway.
But I would like to see snow one day and make snow angels and snowmen. I'm sure that's a lot of fun.
No WAY. That is just not right. I actually checked the weather network tonight and they said chance of light flurries in the morning . . . WTF? I need to put my kids in snow suits in October? I give up.
not laughing either.
seriously what happened to fall??
Is it wrong... that I am laughing? Very funny post. I don't like to be cold though... and, Girl... I know you are cold there. But when God gives snow... He also gives you funny blog post. I enjoyed it.
Ugh! I agree with you, that just sucks. I still haven't gotten used to the cold. We're going into our 3rd year of no heat in the house too.
Seriously! WTF - We flew in from SF thinking the pilot made a mistake, "It's currently 35 degrees in Minneapolis and 6 pm." We're like, "Oh, he must mean 53 or something." Gah. I want to go back to California!
oh - snow.
We don't get snow in Perth - I will however be complaining in a few months time that it has been 45degrees (C) for 3 days straight and I haven't left the house!
Does that help?
I think you are on to a new business venture there! You know how the Coors (I think) had the mountain range that changed color when it was cold, you could do the same thing on your can with God changing colors.
I think it would go over really well at our local Greek Festival, LOTS of beer can be found there. And what a great way to advertise!
And hey why not do it in the basement, the kids could help!
Just kidding, I can't believe you have snow already. Brr. I think I will be greatful for only having chilly wind right now!
I am sympathizing with you. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where it is currently -7 Celsius and snowing. Ah winter.
PS: I gave you an award! I hope you can stop by and accept it!
i will so join you on the making snow into beer venture. we've got to figure out something to do with snow if it's gonna start this early!
i have yet to figure out what to do with all the acorns this year. apparently you can make acorn pancakes ... but i was a little worried about trying it.
LOL... I am so not ready for snow... not even if they could turn it into beer!
Ummmmm..yuck, yuck, yuckity yuck!
Better snow than ice--all we ever get here is ice!
Ok so that is awful! AWFUL!!!
Toally sucks! Ugh, I'm disgusted for you!!
Makes me think the fact that we are still "stuck" in Arizona might not be that bad of a deal afterall. A little weekend trip to Phoenix might just be right what we BOTH need!!! Want to meet up in Phoenix?? :)
