on being a little sister
My brother use to pin me down to the ground, my arms stuck with his legs, his body straddled mine, him just above me. I prepared myself for either two things; he was going to snort some snot then dangle it above my head or he was going to fart in my face.

So adorable! And life of a younger sibling for sure. The Dudes used to throw balls at #3 when he sat in his Exersucer. They were trying to get them in the seat with him. I would yell and he would laugh his oblivious face just happy to be the center of their universe for a moment!
So funny! I used to pin my brother down and try to feed him stuff he didn't like, like tomatoes. Then he got bigger than me. ;P
And, she's totally none the wiser. I can't even imagine.
Not to mention she'll never be able to go on a date.

I grew up hearing my mom's little-sister-stories. She had two older sisters who mostly left her alone and then an older brother who threw a real dart at her throat and dared her to jump off the roof. She liked to share those stories when I complained about not wanting to be the oldest and, mainly, wanting an older brother! :) I was MOSTLY nice to my sister...
My husband was also the youngest of three boys... so I feel bad for my next child, whether a boy or a girl!

My brother would get me in that position and:
1. Repeatedly poke my chest with his index fingers, known as the turkey torture or
2. Stick a Vick's Vapo stick up my nose.
One of these days I'll get him back.
