roommates

Wu has taken to sleeping with his head under his pillow. Not only does it look horribly uncomfortable (and yes, I do freak out for a slight second that he's not breathing under it, like any 'normal' mother would do), but every time I see him sleeping this way it reminds me of one of my roommates my freshman year of college who did the same thing.

Now, if Wu starts eating all my Mac'n'Cheese and vomiting on the carpet, covering it up with a bath towel and leaving town for the entire weekend; he better know that I'm fully prepared to kick him out too.

Consider this his warning.

That is awesome!!

My freshman year roommate sucked too!!

Although she would not shower for at least a week, and have her boyfriend shack up at our place and urinate in cups and leave them around. Seriously the disfunction!!

Cute picture of Wu!

Wow, sounds like you had a winner for a roommate!

But don't worry, my husband also sleeps with his head under the pillow and he is an awesome guy :)

My oldest sleeps with his head under the covers, which I still can't imagine breathing through.
I changed roommates twice my freshman year!

Head under pillow sleeping is the way to go. Wu has it figured out.

I wonder what else your college roommate consumed to cause the M&C refunding. That stuff doesn't come up by itself.

I just started following your blog, and I am LMAO right now so I had to leave a comment and say "HI"! I am lucky I lived at home my freshman year (although I hated it at the time!!)

Funny, I freak out when ever my daughter sleeps with her head under her pillow. In fact, I run across the room and take the pillow off her head (as if she hasn't had it there for hours already). Lucky for me she's a pretty deep sleeper and this doesn't wake her up.

This picture is adorable! I love it!

That would totally freak me out, too!

He is such a doll...

You ARE a normal mother!

I would freak too if I could see them sleep. I just let them be and don't watch unless an asthma attack happens. Then they are in my arms until they sleep or next to the bed, together...

I wish I could say I had a college roomie. I went at night busting my butt, worked f/t during the day and a p/t job at night, plus f/t college. It stunk. No college "experience" for me. Waaah.

Hoping that won't be the case for the kids. That they get roomies they love and don't have to work their tails off 4 the degree.

hugs!

OH NO. She DID NOT. puke and leave=just plain wrong.

Miles likes to sleep with his head under the blankets...I do that same "oh no is he breathing" thing...for a second. Then I take the blanket off. Then he pulls it back up...then... :)

Is it bad if I tell you he will probably do much worse? :-) He is such a cutie though.
My friend's son has taken to sleeping on the floor with a pillow and blanket. When he was sick he would only sleep if she was lying next to him.

I never got to experience the joy of having a roommate. Sounds like I didn't miss out on much!!

ROFL Dude, that's just wrong (throwing up on the carpet and covering it with a towel. EW!)

He is just adorable! My kids haven't taken to doing that. They talk in their sleep though. A lot. It's kinda freaky.

My youngest sleeps with a blanket over his head.

My freshman year roommate was a nightmare.

Stopping in from SITS.

My girls peed behind my old futon several times before one of them told me. And it was for a lot longer than a weekend that they let it sit. They didn't even have the courtesy to cover it up with a towel though.
I'm sure that Wu will breath ok through the pillow, but that is a bit concerning to find him sleeping that way.
Sorry it's been so long since I've been to visit. I will go catch up on everything that I've missed!
