I try to make a point of never putting naked, bottom-half pictures of my children online because my blog is public and the public is full of weirdos (not you lovely people, of course, well... maybe you, over there in the corner). Anyway weirdos, here's the only picture you will ever see of my little girl naked.
I've gotta tell you, for the past week and a half, every time I look at this picture taped on the fridge, I have a hard time believing that those lines mean a girl. Is this really what it's suppose to look like on an ultrasound? I'm use to seeing a little, err bigger sign of the gender.
*It's* not just tucked in somewhere or really immature for 19 weeks, is it?

Yay!!!! A million congrats Beth!
I wouldn't know! I've only ever seen ultrasound genitalia of the penile variety. :) But that's certainly not penile ... soooo ...
Had the same reaction when we saw our girl's u/s. We were all, "for reals?!?!?!" Congrats!!
I think it's messing with you that it says "gender guess" on there. Here's hoping there's nothing hiding in there.
I've only seen a little twig down there myself, but that seemed really obvious so maybe it is obvious in its lack of obvious-ness? Er, or something!
Congratulations!
I had a girl and they never could tell me for 100% that it was in fact a girl...because, who knows, it could be just "hiding"! :) Congratulations!
With my youngest, the ultrasound tech looked at the picture and said, "Well, I think that's pretty obvious." This forced me to glare at him and say, "Maybe if you read ultrasounds for a living, but could you maybe fill the rest of us in?" Once he pointed out the boy parts I could tell- but before that? Could have been an ultrasound picture of a squirrel for all I could tell.
it blew my mind when the tech was like yup see those white dots - that's a girl. and i was like you have to be kidding me? white dots and we call it??
here's to the day our girls shop at the mega mall :)
Looks like the telltale "hot dog bun" to me. Not that I ever got to see one ;)
Congrats on a girl!!! I know with my daughter I half wondered/worried the whole time that maybe they just missed something as boys are.. yeah a little more easy to identify, but they were right she is all girl :)
I always find the girl u/s shots funny. A penis is one thing, but labia are just plain funny looking.
Congrats on a GIRL! How exciting!
Yep! That's what both of my girls looked like! The boys had a um, different appearance. LOL Congrats!
im excited for u lady!!!!
I think that's what every mom who hears "it's a girl" at the ultrasound wonders. "What if they missed *it*?! What if *it* was hiding?!"
I didn't want to know, but my ultrasound tech started giggling at the picture...of course when I asked what was so funny, she said, "Well, you may not WANT to know, but it's kinda hard to avoid that now, isn't it?"...pointing to what, apparently, was the most obvious penis ever. Seriously, I couldn't tell the difference between that and his left ear, but whatever... :)
Congrats hun!@ Wowza!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see her IRL in pics.
I'd kill 4 a girl but my M girls say, when they get married (soon) I am gonna b a grandma and rock it w/the grandgirls.
So I will be ok, I hope, the old lady that I am that is too old to try again at 48.
Hugs!!!!!!!
Awesome! Little girls are lovely - your boys will dote over her for sure! Congrats! :)
Awesome!
(Insert jealousy here)
I know what you mean. But our tech *repeatedly* pointed to her parts and said, "labia, labia, clitoris," so we were feeling pretty sure.
definitely a girl. looks just like Grace's u/s did. :)
Congtraulations!!!!!!! I'm definitely giong to come by here regularly to check up. ;)
Yay!!
I was shocked when Natalie was a girl too. I honestly thought I'd never have one.
Yaaaay!!!!! Congrats!
