perfectly acceptable
I'm sitting here wondering when it became perfectly acceptable for me to wear socks with a huge hole in them and when did the thought of darning them become my first thought instead of getting into the minivan and driving to Target for a new 6 pack of black socks - like a sane woman would do.

What?! Sane women would go buy themsleves new socks? Now that jsut sounds downright INsane! I still wear jeans with splatters of paint on them. Only when I have to run errands. That makes it acceptable right?

I love this.
I don't own a single pair of socks without holes and my clothes seem to be going the same way. I am not at all handy in darning (or sewing, knitting... any montherly task like that)and when we shop it's for everyone else!
