Yesterday you turned 22 months, 2 months away from turning 2 years old. The terrible 2's. Child number 2. My 2 boys.
I remember when we laid you into the pillows of the couch, sleeping in the sunlight, jaundice over most of your body, just us 2 staring right at your 2 big, beautiful dimples.

First of all...that is the cutest picture. Ever.
Second (apparently a good number for this post)...thank you for making me shed some tears. This was so sweet. And a little scary because (since both of our boys are so close in age) it is just getting so close.
Oddly, I was looking at pictures from when I had Nico in the hospital just tonight. How little he was, how the dog wanted to do nothing but smell him. So maybe I was already a little emotional.
