jealous much?

I know that all of you not from Minnesota are jealous of our 25 degrees below zero temperatures (today it's -2, a warm spell) and snow drifts higher than humans, but I thought I'd let you in on another reason to hate us Minnesotans a little more, we've got Sasquatch.

story and photo courtesy of bringmethenew.com

Just in case this didn't make national news:
"Two hunters say they've captured photographic evidence of Bigfoot lurking in the woods norther of Remer, Minn. While local DNR officials remain skeptical, the Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Research Team is on the case."
Thank goodness the Bigfoot Research Team is on the case.

Keeping it exciting here in Minnesota (also know as: The only way we survive Winter).

  2. I am so jealous. I can't believe New York doesn't have a Bigfoot Research Team. It makes me wonder what we are spending our tax money on here.

  3. That is too funny! I too am completely jealous that Minn has it's own bigfoot research team!

Seriously, what kind of degree do you need to qualify to work with them??

NAU offers a degree in forestry. does that count?

  4. I'm jealous that your bigfoot keeps his coat on, as we have 39c {I think thats close to 100f} temps at the mo, I'm sure I saw a few scary naked bigfoot-blokes down at the beach on the weekend! Eww, I wish we had a research and capture team to save us all from that sight!!
    :)

  5. That would be a good job to have (the research part, that is!) Wonder what they pay?

  6. This is hilarious! Can't believe you have a whole research team for that kind of stuff! (And the temps aren't that much better here in WI. Yeah, it's booger-freezing cold here, too.)

  7. Excellent! I can rest easier knowing they are on the case:)

  8. I can go about my day now that I know the research team is on the case!

That is WAY too cold for me. Brrr!!!

  9. Brrrrr.

I don't think Wyoming has a Big Foot. There were cases of UFOs though.

  10. I love that there is a big foot research team! That made my day!

  11. Lol, I had no idea there was a bigfoot research team!

I love the photos, totally a man in a gorilla suit. I'm such a cynic right?

  12. It looks like "Sasquatch" is wearing gloves. But hey, even mysterious forest-dwelling beasts have to protect themselves against those subzero temperatures SOMEHOW. ;)

  13. That photo is just too funny! Odd how all the supposed "Captured photos" of bigfoot are all blurry....hmmm...

  14. Brrrrrr!

Don't hate me, but I'm sitting out on the deck in the sunshine as I read this.

  20. Is the Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Research Team made up of volunteers or it is paid for by the tax payers in Minnesota? That would be frightening.

  21. That's hilarious!
But your temperatures aren't so hilarious. I can't even comprehend that kind of cold!

  22. LOL---You know that was some husband whose wife just really really had him wear his winter gear ;)

  23. I do believe it was close to 60 degrees today...

My God that bigfoot looks so authentic. I can't believe they need to send out a team to authenticate it ;-)

  24. I want on that team!! I would be soo good!!! I could sniff him out.. or.. something... I just really really wanna be!!

  25. THANK GOD I live in Minnesota and can enjoy ALL of the above!!!

  26. You just keep him up there with ya'all and don't send him south to Iowa ...... though I think I'd rather have him than the -25 degree temps. I know, I know, our time will come. LOL

  27. You're right... I'm so jealous... we only had .001 inches of snow last week and now it's back up to the mid 70's. I only got to wear my scarf, no jacket. Winter sure was fun. (Okay, it's in the 70's down the hill and I'm still starting my morning with your tank vision scraping technique... only it's with a binder clip, 'cuz that's the only hard-edged thingy I could find the other day and it worked. Thanks for the tip). A sign of Big Foot would be cool, but I probably don't want to hang out with the guys on the research team. They're one step up... or down... from the paranormal studies people.

  30. Tee Hee, love it! Sasquatch rules! I wonder if his fur goes white in the winter like an arctic fox? Chew on that, Bigfoot Research Team!

Stopping by from SITS. Great blog!

  31. Wow! I really do wish that we had a Bigfoot research team. I am so jealous.
We are right there with you hanging out in the negative numbers.
I bought a new coat, and it's the first one that I've bought to actually keep me warm.
Are you staying inside the house with stir crazy toddlers? If so, how's the sanity holding out?
